Ergonomic Analysis
Level 3: Post Injury Evaluations (with Report only)
The post injury evaluation is conducted after report of an injury or disability that affects the individual’s ability to perform the job. This type of assessment may be conducted at the request of the employer, the physician, an attorney, insurance adjustor or nurse case manager. Photographs are typically taken when permitted to illustrate the employee’s work station, work tools or work methods. Detailed measurements may also be taken to determine a specific course of action. Level 3 evaluations are suggested when:
- The physician, employer, attorney, insurance adjustor or nurse case manager requests an ergonomic assessment by a qualified individual and requires a formal written report.
- The employer needs information regarding how to solve a complicated injury situation and wishes to implement the suggestions of a certified professional
